About GSmoove Steppas
A new rhythm is taking over Gonzales with the arrival of the GSmoove Steppas, a dynamic group of women who have joined together in sisterhood, strength, and service. While it’s no secret that line dancing brought them together, their shared commitment to serving others is the powerful force that keeps them united.
Led by visionary and native Gonzales resident Chantelle Glover, the GSmoove Steppas officially launched in June 2025 and have already filled their calendar with community engagements with big plans on the horizon.
The group made their spectacular debut on Saturday, August 2nd, 2025, at the annual Face to Face Enrichment Services back-to-school event. The large troupe of steppas, proudly made up of mothers and grandmothers, danced throughout the day, bringing infectious energy and joy to the community gathering.
The GSmoove Steppas are more than just a dance group; they are a testament to the power of community and the positive impact that can be made when passion meets purpose.
Be on the lookout for the GSmoove Steppas! Gonzales is more than jambalaya.
